Originating from the Arabic word سُفْرَة, meaning a table that is set and ready for a meal, Alsofra is a pop-up supper club located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. We create specialised seasonal menus and host them in unique locations.
We provide a social dining experience that aims to bring people together around a dinner table. We offer our guests an opportunity to share conversations with friends, family and maybe find something new. We do this by sourcing the right location, we create artistic table settings and above all else we cook with passion to inspire our guests.
Meet the Founder & CHEF
With a ‘Diplome De Cuisine’ from the renowned Le Cordon Bleu London, Sarah Juffali is a classically trained chef. After having graduated from cooking school, Sarah has worked at a number of restaurants in London before moving back to her home town of Jeddah to set up Alsofra.
Since returning to Saudi Arabia Sarah has immersed herself within the region and is rediscovering the ingredients of the land and bring them to the table.
